The three aeronauts (Laurent Lajoye,Benoit Pelard et Benoit Péterlé) took off at 9.30pm,

on thursday october the 7th 2010 at the aerodroum of Essey les Nancy.They wanted to fly from France to England.They started the crossing of the channel at the north of Wimereuse

(Pas de Calais) at 12 O'clock and they flew over the English coast at 1.30pm,over Folkestone

and Hastings.

They land ed at Granbrook at from 75 miles at the north of the coast at 3.30pm.

They flew for 17 hours 735 miles, at a distance of 500 and 1000 metre high.

They paid a tribute to Marie Marvingt.

No woman who has ever lived, probably,has had such a terrible exprience as mlle.Marvingt,of the place de la carriere,Nancy, went through on the night of tuesday,the 26th october,wen in the compagny of a friend m.e. Garnier an engineer of Nancy, who had never been in a balloon before,she made a journey of about eight hundred miles in a balloon,being driven,during the latter part of the voyage,over the raging north sea by a terrific gale.
