Christmas or Christmas day is a holiday generally observed on December 25^th to commemorate the birth of jesus , the central figure of christianity .

The december 25^th date may have been selected by the church in Rome in the early 4^th century .

At this time , a church calendar was created and other holidays were also placed on solar dates .

Today christmas is celebrated with the family .

Every years on the 25^th of December , every family make a big dinner . The christmas tree shines and there is often snow . At 12 a.m , people discover presents and are happy . But never say to kids that the father christmas doesn't exist .
